The act or process of collaborating… a product resulting from collaboration… a working together… a joint intellectual effort. Collaboration is what the Upper Deschutes River Communities is all about. Working together to find a balanced approach to creating a unique and wonderful place to live, work and recreate.
Become a Friend of the UDRC:
Everyone needs friends, even the URDC. Would you like to know what is going on in your area? Would you like to be kept in the loop about volunteer opportunities?
Types of volunteer projects include… helping out on the Fire Free weekends at the South County Transfer Station (which is sponsored by Project Wildfire), reducing ladder fuel on private and public land areas, improving riverbank stability on selected land areas, assisting improvement of public safe river access sites along the Big and Little Deschutes Rivers, firewood splitting and delivery, and providing educational material (including local conference) for your community neighbors.
