Maybelle Clark Macdonald Fund Senior Low-income Fuels Reduction grant: $150,000
The Maybelle Clark Macdonald Fund has awarded a grant of $150,000 to the UDRC for wildfire fuels reduction. The grant will provide up to $1000 for fuels reduction services for senior low-income homeowners in South Deschutes County.

2016 – 2020, $5,000/year: Fuels reduction projects in UDRC neighborhoods.
BNSF Railway Fuels Reduction grant: $5,000
2017 – 2020: The URDC has received a $5000 grant from the BNSF Railway to fund the Defensible Space Reimbursement Program. Funds will be used for fuels reduction in communities within two miles of the BNSF railway corridor.
Healy Foundation: $2500
2018 fuels reduction projects in UDRC neighborhoods.
BNSF Railway Fish Tagging grant: $5,000
2015 – 2016: The Upper Deschutes River Coalition is supporting the Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife’s Redband and native Trout radio and PIT tracking program for 2015 and 2016. The BNSF Railway grant of $5,000 was used to purchase 1,720 PIT tags which are used to track the movement Trout in rivers in Central Oregon.
US Forest Service Participating Agreement matching grant: $7500
2014 – 2018 (phase 1 completed): Cooperative agreement between the US Forest Service and Upper Deschutes River Coalition for planning and implementing fuels reduction projects in UDRC neighborhoods and adjacent USFS land.
2018 – 2020 (Phase 2): Community outreach and communications.
National Forest Foundation Benham Falls Trail Maintenance grant: $11,470
2014: Resurface trails, repaint vault toilets, repaint trail signs.
